Our company
Alpha HPA is a publicly listed, Australian-based company which has commercialised the world’s first adoption of the solvent extraction (SX) purification technique to aluminium to produce a growing range of ultra-high purity aluminium materials.
Our high purity aluminium oxides, hydroxides, nitrates and sulphates are found in a wide range of high technology industries including LED lighting, synthetic sapphire, semiconductors, and lithium-ion battery markets, but what sets us apart is our market-leading purity levels, developed with a dramatically lower carbon profile.

Rimas Kairaitis
Managing Director
20+ years experience in minerals exploration and resource development in gold, base metals and industrial minerals. Led the geological field teams to the discovery of the Tomingley and McPhillamy’s gold deposits in NSW and steered the Hera gold-lead-zinc Project from discovery through to successful commissioning and commercial production. Previously founding Managing Director and CEO of ASX-listed Aurelia Metals. Currently Non-Executive Director of Sky Metals Limited.

Rob Williamson
Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer
Rob is a mechanical engineer and joined the Company in June 2020 having recently rebuilt and started up a new 155ktpa SX zinc refinery in the USA in the capacity of Vice President and GM of the facility. Rob is ideally placed to bring nearly 25 years’ experience in large facility operations to Alpha HPA. Based in Brisbane, Rob is responsible for building a Project delivery team for our HPA project in Gladstone. Rob was appointed to the Company's Board in May 2023.

Most recently she has been consulting CEO for private companies, securing numerous international licensing and collaboration partnerships and bringing technologies to market in Australia and globally.
