In our latest market update, we outline accelerating demand for high purity aluminium materials across the global semiconductor supply chain, underpinned by increasing investment in AI infrastructure and advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
We’re seeing growing adoption of high purity alumina (HPA) materials across a range of semiconductor applications, including thermal fillers used in advanced packaging, alumina coatings for fabrication equipment components, and chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) for high bandwidth memory and power semiconductor devices.
Recent product marketing activity has resulted in upgraded Letters of Intent from premium Japanese semiconductor customers, reflecting continued progress through qualification and deeper penetration of our materials within their respective supply chains. In parallel, additional qualification pathways are advancing across low‑alpha alumina applications, particularly where sensitivity to alpha radiation is becoming increasingly critical for advanced node semiconductor manufacturing.
Growth in AI‑related infrastructure is also driving increased demand for CMP materials used in high bandwidth memory and silicon carbide power semiconductors, alongside expanded interest in low‑alpha alumina for semiconductor equipment coatings and chamber linings. We’re also progressing accelerated test work for high purity alumina hydroxides across semiconductor filler applications and water filtration.
To support increasing customer demand, we continue to progress capacity expansion initiatives at our HPA First Facility. Stage One remains in continuous production and is being progressively optimised to lift output, while construction of Stage Two continues to advance. Additional processing capability is being installed to support expected CY26 and CY27 requirements, positioning us to scale alongside customer qualification and contract progression.
We’re currently in product testing and qualification with a broad range of end‑users across semiconductor, advanced manufacturing and adjacent technology markets, as we continue to establish Alpha HPA within critical global supply chains.
