Alpha HPA has released its FY26 Sustainability Performance Report, outlining the Company's environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance as it continues to scale advanced manufacturing operations in Queensland.

The report reflects Alpha HPA's recently refreshed vision, mission and values framework, which was developed to support the Company's next phase of growth and provide greater clarity, alignment and consistency across the organisation. At the centre of the framework is Alpha HPA's vision: Together we innovate for people and the planet.

FY26 was a significant year for the business. Construction continued on the Stage Two expansion of the HPA First Facility, workforce numbers increased, governance systems matured, and the Company strengthened its approach to climate reporting, community engagement and responsible business practices.

Managing Director Rob Williamson said sustainability continues to be integrated into the decisions that shape the business.

"Sustainability is not owned by one team or one department. It is reflected in every engineering decision, every operational improvement, every customer relationship and every investment we make," Mr Williamson said.

Alpha HPA invested more than $31 million with suppliers in the Gladstone Regional Council area, up from $8 million in the previous financial year. The increase reflects the growing role local businesses are playing in supporting the construction and future operation of the HPA First Facility.

Building a diverse advanced manufacturing workforce remains a priority for Alpha HPA. Women represented 39 per cent of the total workforce and 41 per cent of operators and technicians during the reporting period. In an industry traditionally characterised by lower female representation, these figures reflect Alpha HPA's focus on creating opportunities across all areas of the business.

Alpha HPA's mission is to create high-performance materials for advanced technologies through a commitment to quality, agility and care. As demand continues to grow for the materials that enable semiconductor manufacturing, artificial intelligence infrastructure, advanced electronics and clean energy technologies, the Company remains focused on proving that advanced manufacturing, innovation and sustainability can be achieved together.
