More than 700 players across 36 teams took part in this year's Combined Services Touch Day, an annual fundraiser supporting local not-for-profit organisations and community groups that provide important services across the Gladstone region.
As the event's major sponsor, Alpha HPA was proud to support a fundraiser that raised more than $30,000 and attracted participants from local businesses, emergency services, community organisations and Gladstone residents.
The event also saw strong support from Alpha HPA employees, with 12 staff members taking to the field and plenty more cheering from the sidelines throughout the afternoon.
While the Alpha HPA team finished undefeated across all of its matches, the real success of the day was the support shown for local organisations and the positive impact the funds raised will have across the region.
Supporting Combined Services Touch Day is one way Alpha HPA contributes to the communities and organisations that help make Gladstone a great place to live and work. Funds raised through the event help local not-for-profit organisations continue delivering services, programs and assistance to people across the region.
