Representatives from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC) Board, alongside stakeholders from the Net Zero Economy Agency, Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) and AusIndustry, visited Alpha HPA's Gladstone operations last week to tour the HPA First Facility and view progress on construction.
The visit provided an opportunity to tour the Stage One facility and Stage Two construction and discuss the role companies like Alpha HPA play in strengthening Australia's industrial capability and critical minerals value chain.
Earlier this year, the NRFC became a cornerstone investor in Alpha HPA's capital raising, supporting the continued development of the HPA First Facility and helping attract additional institutional investment. The visit enabled the eighteen Board members and stakeholders to see firsthand how the project is taking shape and the capability being developed in Gladstone.
Once operational, the HPA First Facility will position Australia as a significant global producer of ultra-high purity alumina for use in semiconductor, battery and other advanced technology applications, helping strengthen domestic capability in strategic manufacturing sectors.
Alpha HPA values the support of organisations helping bring new industrial capability to Australia and was pleased to demonstrate the expertise, infrastructure and momentum being built in Gladstone as the Company advances towards full-scale operations at the HPA First Facility.
