Alpha HPA has reached a significant milestone in the construction of Stage Two of the HPA First Facility in Gladstone, Queensland with the successful delivery of the solvent extraction (SX) tanks to site.

These modules form a critical part of Alpha HPA’s proprietary processing system and enable the high purity outcomes that differentiate the Company globally.

PRECISION LOGISTICS AT SCALE

Due to their size, the SX tanks are classified as over-dimensional loads and were transported from Gladstone Port to site under carefully managed nighttime operations, including police escort and coordinated road access arrangements.

Deliveries occurred between midnight and early morning hours to ensure safety and minimise community disruption. Once on site, the modules were positioned with precision, reflecting months of planning and coordination across engineering, logistics and safety teams.

Planning for these movements commenced in May last year and involved detailed collaboration behind the scenes to ensure safe and efficient execution.

ENABLING ALPHA HPA’S COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

The solvent extraction circuit is central to Alpha HPA’s ability to produce ultra-high purity aluminium materials for critical global industries.

These tanks support the process steps that enable consistent, premium grade product, a key differentiator for customers in semiconductor, battery and advanced technology supply chains.

In terms of scale, the completed SX tank module will be comparable in footprint to the entire existing Stage One facility, underscoring the step change in capacity and capability that Stage Two represents.

BUILDING WITH DISCIPLINE AND CONFIDENCE

The successful arrival and placement of the SX tanks is a visible demonstration of Stage Two construction progress and the Company’s ability to execute complex, large scale infrastructure milestones safely and effectively.

With up to 100 major loads expected over the course of the project, this delivery sets the benchmark for disciplined logistics and construction execution moving forward.

Alpha HPA thanks the project team, logistics partners and local stakeholders who contributed to this achievement.

As construction continues, milestones such as this reinforce confidence in the Company’s delivery pathway and its commitment to building a globally significant high purity materials platform in Gladstone.
